For determining the initial setting time of concrete with slump value greater than zero.

The equipment comprises a penetrometer with calibrated spring (0 - 100 kgf, in 1 kgf divisions) six stainless steel needle points (650-325-160-65-32-16 mm2) and an adaptor.

A fl ow ring on the calibrated rod of the penetrometer indicates the load reached.
