The dial pocket penetrometer is a useful tool for the rapid determination of the unconfined compressive strenghts of soils, expressed in kg/cm2.

Graduated scale 0 - 6 kgf/sq.cm.

In addition to the 6.4 mm diameter standard type, 4 load plates (10, 15, 20, 25 mm diameter) are supplied for the indirect determination of the friction angle of incoherent soils.Graduated scale 3 - 15 kgf/sq.cm.
