Paper Air Permeance Tester - Schopper Method Air Permeability Tester

Application:

Cement bag paper, paper bag paper, cable paper, copy paper, industrial filter paper, etc. all need to determine the degree of air permeability. This tester is designed and manufactured for the above-mentioned various papers. The tester consists of a container on a fixed support, a pattern holder, and a pressure gauge. The upper part of the container is equipped with a vent valve and a water filling valve with a funnel. Distilled water is injected into the container from the water filling valve with a funnel. The bottom of the container is equipped with an overflow valve and regulating valve to control the flow of water. The pattern clamp ring is fixed on the bracket, and the pattern clamp ring and the airbox have a hole with an area of 10cm². The airbox is located under the paper clip ring. There are two connectors on the airbox. The rubber hose is connected to the exhaust pipe and the pressure gauge respectively.

The base of the instrument is the basis of the entire instrument, and a level is installed on it.

Adjustment bolts to adjust the horizontal position of the instrument.

The working principle: the average airflow rate per unit area of paper sheet per unit time and pressure difference under specified conditions. The instrument is suitable for paper with air permeability between 1 × 10-2 and 1 × 102 µm / (Pa · s). It is not suitable for paper with large surface roughness.

Operating conditions: Room temperature (20 ± 10) ⁰C air clean environment, placed on a solid and stable workbench.
