Sand content of drilling muds

One of the most important duties of drilling fluids is to move the sounding debris out of the well.

These are pollutants for drilling fluid and cause a lot of trouble when they stay in the well.

The TESTFORM SAND MEASUREMENT KIT provided by TESTFORM determines the volumetric ratio of large solids of '74 microns' (200 mesh) in the size of sand particles in the drilling fluid.

Tests can be made of light and heavy muds. The kit consists of a graded tube, a funnel, a 200 mesh sieve, and a cylindrical guard to measure the volumetric percentage.
