Moisture condition value (MCV) and chalk crushing value (CCV)

  • The MCV and CCV Apparatus is used for Moisture Condition Value tests and Chalk Crushing Value tests.

  • It is easy to use due to its' simple design. When the sliding hammer is lifted to the correct pre-determined height, it triggers a release mechanism which allows the hammer to fall into the mould and this compacts the sample. 

    The apparatus has a trip-counter which records the number of hammer blows. 

    The apparatus comes with a mould, fibre discs and a vernier depth gauge for penetration measurement.
