Scope:

TESTFORM HGTC automatic air permeability tester; It is used to determine the air permeability resistance of all kinds of fabrics (knitted, woven and non-woven), paper, film, leather and similar materials.

What is air permeability?

Fabric permeability refers to the air permeability of the fabric in the presence of pressure difference on both sides of the fabric, that is, the volume of air flowing through the fabric on both sides of the fabric and its area per unit time under the specified pressure difference between the two sides. Since the pressure difference is a necessary condition for air flow, the air flow in the fabric can be produced only by maintaining a certain pressure difference on both sides of the fabric being tested.

Importance of fabric permeability:

Fabric permeability is an important factor affecting fabric comfort and service performance. For example, sportswear, cardamom and warm clothing have higher requirements for fabric permeability, and some industrial textiles, such as parachute and filter cloth, have special requirements for fabric permeability. Only the fabric that meets the air permeability requirements can meet the different needs of our life and production.

Test principle for air permeability:

The Touch Screen Air Permeability Tester is a device developed to detect the air passage under pre-set air pressure sensitively and quickly by attaching the HGTC fabric samples (woven, knit and non-woven textile materials) to the selected test head in tension. The clamping lever is used to attach the sample to the instrument. To start the test, by pressing the buttons on the front of the device, the air inside the annular replaceable test head is evacuated with a strong vacuum pump. The air permeability of the test sample is measured in pre-selected units and displayed on the digital display within a few seconds, while the preset test pressure is automatically maintained regularly. Lowering the clamping lever a second time shuts down the vacuum pump and frees the sample. Sample Holders: 20 cm2 test head is supplied with the device.

You can perform all test functions on the 7-inch touch screen, as well as host reporting, archiving, and statistical results with FalconPro software. If you wish, you can create your own standards and perform your tests with a single click. The administrator can grant full or limited privileges to all other users (testing, deleting tests, and privileges such as access to the archive can be defined separately for each user) and each user can operate on the device with their own password.
