Application

It is an electromechanical material testing device; tests such as tensile, compression, bending, etc. can be performed according to EN, ISO, ASTM, BS, DIN and international standards, using jaws and test fixtures as required. It ensures that samples are tested in the best possible way with different force options. The production of suitable test jaws and fixtures for all samples is carried out in-house, meeting user needs. It determines whether the tested sample meets the desired standard values. With our material testing software, test methods can be defined, and all test results can be reported and stored. It can provide numerous test results (stress, breaking force, elongation at break, % elongation, etc.). It offers easy and fast operation with an optional touchscreen.

Main Frame

The device is driven by a servo motor and uses a precision screw to achieve the highest precision. With two guide columns (chrome-plated), rigidity is provided for the crosshead system with linear movement. The robust cylindrical load cell, unaffected by lateral loads, ensures high repeatability.

User Panel

The touchscreen technology is presented to us as a technology that facilitates and accelerates our lives. As a company, we have designed our devices with a touch panel to ensure that the user can see all visual values and has many options, so that safety and then the experiment can be carried out under the best conditions and in the fastest way. An emergency button is located on the control panel. All precautions have been taken for both user and device safety.

Vise Grips

  • Vise grips for testing the tension of plastics and metals.
  • We offer a series of vise grips for general tensile testing of metals and plastics.
  • The vise design of the gripping area means that as the force increases, the gripping area tightens on the sample.
  • Initial force can be applied by various methods such as side lever, handwheel movement or screw movement.
  • Jaw faces are interchangeable for different sample types and sizes.

Bending/Fixtures

  • Bending apparatus/fixture for 3-point and 4-point bending.
  • Also known as bending fixtures, the bending apparatus is used to determine the bending properties of hard and semi-hard materials such as glass, ceramics, composites, wood and rigid plastics.
  • Our bending fixtures are designed for 3-point and 4-point compression bending applications.
  • Available in aluminum and steel and comes with a set of anvils or supports.
  • The bending fixture operates in a temperature range of -70 °C to +180 °C.

Compression Plates

  • Compression plates for compression testing.
  • Round, square and rectangular compression plates are used for general compression testing.
  • Our compression plates are made of aluminum for testing soft samples such as cardboard, plastic, rubber, foams, light springs, bottles and cartons.
  • Also available in hardened steel for testing rubber, plastic, heavy-duty springs, construction products, composites and ceramics.

Extensometers

During the design phase, production is carried out to offer the user the easiest testing opportunity. The amount of extension between two points indicated by the extensometer is determined during the compression of the materials.

To meet your complex or unique testing needs, we offer optional material testing software for a more powerful and flexible material testing system that allows you to perform user-configured tests.

Falcon_Pro Material Testing Software

It is offered as standard in the Competan series. After defining the sample's cross-sectional area, customer name or any user-defined data once, the sample is recorded. This record is called from the pre-test menu and all subsequent operations are performed automatically by Falcon_Pro. It also enables user authorization, test archiving, and sample identification by adding visual elements.

All users defined in Falcon_Pro Software operate within the permissions determined by the administrator. Permissions such as Test creation, Test deletion, accessing archive, editing archive can be defined separately for users. The login time and operations of each user are recorded.
