The Pressure Aging Vessel (PAV) is designed to simulate the in-service oxidative aging of asphalt binder by exposing it to high temperatures in a pressurized environment.
It includes a pressure relief valve and thermal shutdown at high temperatures. It allows for remote operation capabilities and ensures the user has full control of the PAV.
Operating pressure range of 2.1 ± 0.1 MPa and temperature range of 80°C to 115°C, with 0.1°C resolution.
