This test is specifically for round steel bars for concrete; the purpose is to verify that their ductility is sufficient for cold forming processes.

The test involves bending the sample to a predetermined angle and then partially straightening it to see if any cracks or fractures have occurred.

The bending and re-straightening angles, as well as the radii of the tools and the distances between supports, all depend on the diameter of the sample, its surface type, and the quality of the steel.

The MT103 is distinguished by its high-precision machining capabilities: the end of the shaft is firmly held by a swan-neck connected guide to prevent bending in the pushing device and dangerous elastic energy accumulation; the guide, roller bearing element, and stud are bolted to the same machined beam.

The motor and hydraulic components are sized for continuous operation. Changing the tools does not create any difficulties.

The series connection parts consist of a two-roller connection (diameter 50 mm and diameter 100 mm). Mandrels and mandrel supports when needed can be selected from those described below.
