The HY0401-4 Martindale Abrasion and Pilling Tester is used to determine the abrasion and pilling resistance of all types of textiles using the Martindale method. Circular test specimens are rubbed against a friction surface containing known abrasives with a force defined in a Lissajous figure pattern.

- Microcomputer control, large color touchscreen operation; Two test methods with small and standard large Lissajous curve, small Lissajous mode for pilling test, large Lissajous mode for abrasion test
- Loading parts and main components are made of durable stainless steel
- Has guide plates made of special aluminum alloy to ensure long-term operation without deformation
- Counting mode can be adjusted for desired stations (increment and decrement)
