According to the relevant standard, the test device used to test the resistance of sinks to temperature changes when the test specified in Article 5.4.1 of EN 14688 is applied.

- Cold water supply system, automatic water supply at (15 ± 2) °C temperature at the pipe outlet
- Water supply pipe has an inner diameter of 10 mm for hot and cold water supply
- Has a mechanism to hold the sink to be tested horizontally; the mechanism does not apply any load to the sink
- Temperature control on the device and the process specified in the standard are automatically applied with the help of the program on the touchscreen
- The sensors in the system measure temperatures between 0°C and 100°C with ± 1°C accuracy and display them on the screen
