GENERAL OVERVIEW

The SDTC series Motorized Charpy Izod Testing Machine is programmable with its control unit and measurement system by a Digital encoder. It is used together with Charpy and Izod accessories for flexibility tests on metallic and metalloid materials.

Suitable for Steel and Metal Processing Industry, Research Institutes, Accredited Laboratories, Technical Schools and Research Institutes.

Upon request, a verification and calibration certificate from a laboratory with international traceability is provided.

BASIC FEATURES

• Impact energy range: 300 to 750 J, depending on the model, energy resolution 0.01J at full capacity.
• Angle measurement encoder (digital transducer) resolution 0.018 degrees.
• The motorized hammer is ready for a second test after the test is completed.
• When the user presses the Start button, the hammer is released.
• The digital control unit with its touchscreen is located at the front of the device, emergency stop button and other buttons are on this unit.
• Digital reading in kJ/m² on the touchscreen. (Computer and WinCharpy software are optional.)
• Data transfer via USB or Ethernet interface with WinCharpy software running on a Computer.
• Has a locking system to prevent the hammer from accidentally falling.
• Support anvil for 55 x 10 x 10 mm Charpy specimens. (40 mm between supports). The system is adjustable for specimens of different sizes and tests (IZOD).
• Upon request, Supports, anvils and impact strikers are provided according to EN and ASTM standards, for special tests.
• Easily interchangeable striker blades and support anvil sets.
