It measures the surface durability of aggregates with abrasion.
The device is also called the "Dorry abrasion machine." It rotates on a cast iron pulley with a diameter of 600 mm at a speed of 28-30 rpm in a horizontal position.
Abrasive dust is poured from the device's funnel onto the sample surface.
The device comes with two sample molds, two trays, two flat plates, and a clamp.
