It is used to detect the carbon dioxide in lime.
Basically; it consists of a dropping funnel with a tap, capillary tubes (thin glass tubes), a three-way tap, a 50 mL reaction flask; an absorption container containing potassium hydroxide solution, a burette, a leveling bottle containing sealing liquid, a water-filled protective tube, and a wire stand.
A heating plate, magnetic stirrer, and suitable adjustable laboratory tripod are used to perform the test.
The magnetic stirrer and heating plate must also be ordered separately.
