Used to measure the abrasion resistance of aggregate.
The device has steel frames supporting the drum.
A 1 hp electric motor and reducer rotate the drum at 30-33 rpm.
Abrasion balls (according to standard weight and size) must be ordered separately.
The galvanized steel tray is for collecting material.
The electronic control panel consists of a start/stop button and a programmable 5-digit digital counter. (The device automatically stops when the defined number of rotations is reached.)
