Used to determine aggregate abrasion resistance.
It consists of two hollow cylinders, closed at one end and provided with tight-fitting caps at both ends.
These cylinders are mounted on a shaft at a 30-degree angle to the axis of rotation.
The shaft is driven by a motor through a reduction gear set at 30-33 rpm and is equipped with a revolution counter.
Complete with 12 abrasion balls of 48mm diameter.
