DV2T Touch Screen Viscometer

Product Information

The DV2T Viscometer features a 5-inch color screen that guides users in creating tests and collecting data for fast and easy viscosity measurements. The DV2T also offers powerful new programming capabilities and result analysis, including data averaging and QC limits with alarms. User instructions with multi-step test protocols can be created using the new Program Software and loaded onto the DV2T via a USB Flash Drive (both are provided with the device). Test data can be saved directly to an external printer or sent to a PC. Additional automatic control and data collection can be provided with the optional RheocalcT software.

Each of our Standard Laboratory Viscometers/Rheometers is supplied with an internal spring used to calculate a material's viscosity. These springs have different measurement capabilities:

LV is for low viscosity materials and can measure the thinnest materials. Typical examples include inks, oils, and solvents.

RV is for medium viscosity materials compared to those measured with LV torque. Typical examples include creams, foods, and paints.

HA is for materials with higher viscosity than those measured with an RV torque. Typical examples include gels, chocolate, and epoxies.

HB is for materials with higher viscosity than those measured with an HA torque spring. Typical examples include asphalt, finishing compounds, and molasses.
