Surface Roughness Measuring Device

It includes a 3 m long beam on its wheels and is used to check for irregularities on both concrete and asphalt road surfaces.

A sensor unit and central wheel mechanism measures deviation from a straight line shown on a 4:1 magnified gauge with a scale calibrated at 2:10 mm and in increments of 5 mm to 25 mm.

Suspicious areas are identified using a paint marker.

The device is both maneuverable and easy to assemble, so a single operator is sufficient.
