This test is conducted to determine the rebound hardness of rocks using a hardness tester and indirectly to establish their uniaxial compressive strengths.

It is easy to use and similar to using a concrete test hammer. The rebound energy is 0.735 Nm. The rock piece is placed in the rock placement apparatus, and the rebound index value is found by calculating the average value.

It is complete with a carrying case. Its weight is approximately 1.5 kg.
