The ductility of bituminous materials is determined by measuring the elongation of a sample before failure when subjected to tensile stress under predetermined speed and temperature conditions (50 mm/min; 25°C).
The device is made of stainless steel. It features a cooling coil, water circulation pump, thermostat (±0.1°C), digital display, gear reduction unit for mold feeding, and manual tensile stress transfer.
Suitable for testing 3 samples simultaneously. The electric motor power is 0.25 hp.
Standard travel stroke: 1500 mm. Supplied without accessories (molds or mold plates must be ordered separately).
