Rock cutting box apparatus

ASTM D5607 - ISRM

Used for measuring the strength and tilt stability of rock samples up to 115 x 125 mm or core samples with a maximum diameter of 102 mm.

Features two horizontal rams for bidirectional shearing, a vertical loading ram, and two 150 mm diameter tube-type load gauges with quick-release couplings.

The gauges are calibrated at 50 kN with 1 kN intervals.

The dial gauge has specifications of 25 x 0.01 mm.

Equipped with two hydraulically connected hand pumps.
