Hook and Line Set
The hook and line kit provides a wide variety of equipment and tools that can be deployed by a bomb technician to access, lift, manipulate, and handle a suspicious object. This kit is a vital part of EOD equipment for any semi-remote IEDD operation.
The kit contains various hooks, ropes, pulleys, lines, hanging rings, rods, clamping devices, multi-purpose tool clamps, and straps. Developed with inputs and experiences from various EOD operators, this set offers great flexibility with various options for handling IEDs.
An experienced EOD team can quickly and safely create a hook and line mechanism that allows the team to investigate and facilitate the detonation and/or removal of suspicious materials. A standard kit is listed below and can be adapted to any special needs.
