MF Series Chamber Furnaces

MF Series chamber furnaces are desktop laboratory furnaces ranging from 5 liters to 45 liters, operating between 1100°C - 1600°C. Our furnaces are manufactured using high-quality fiber boards with low heat transfer coefficients, as a result of engineering calculations for heat transfer, strength calculations, and the calculation of required heating power.

Safety Features

User safety is a top priority in our furnaces. The outer surface temperature of the furnace is minimized through a double-layer steel construction with necessary insulation and ventilation gaps, creating a safe working area for the user. The furnace door is designed to open upwards, minimizing the amount of heat the user is exposed to. It protects the user with a safety switch that cuts off the electricity when the door is opened, and protects the heating chamber with a high-temperature protection alarm.

Technical Specifications

The mouth and base of the heating chamber section have increased resistance to impact and friction thanks to the insulating bricks used. The fiber boards used inside the heating chamber ensure that the temperature reaches the desired level quickly inside and that the heating chamber temperature is distributed homogeneously, thanks to their low thermal conductivity.

Heating Elements

Heating elements are calculated and applied according to the furnace temperatures and temperature resistance. The appropriate resistors are used according to furnace temperatures:

  • 1100°C - 1200°C: Kanthal A-1 quality wire
  • 1300°C: Kanthal APM wire
  • 1400°C - 1600°C: SiC resistors

Control System

The control devices specially designed for our company feature PID control, minimizing temperature fluctuations at the set value. Each step in the control devices can be defined up to 9999 minutes, and the program can resume from where it left off in case of power outages.
