The Binder recovery device, produced in accordance with EN 12697-1 Clause B.3.1, EN 13108, and BS 598:102 standards, is used to separate the solvent from the binder solution and determine the binder content in bitumen.
Device Components
The Binder recovery device consists of the following set:
- Thermostatic water bath with a lid and digital thermostat to keep boiling water during the recovery cycle
- 2 glass bottles with 250 ml capacity
- Rubber stoppers, tubes, and taps
- Vacuum gauge (connected to the vacuum pump)
- 1000 ml capacity Pyrex bottle, used as a vacuum bottle
