Softening Point Test Device - Wilhelmi Method

Used to determine the softening point of bituminous materials in road construction according to the Wilhelmi method.

The softening point is the temperature at which a thermoplastic material layer has a deformation caused by a steel ball weighing 13.9 g.

The device includes a ring split into two halves on a metal support frame, a glass beaker, and a steel ball with a 15 mm diameter.
