Six measurement points (2 x 3) are mounted in a rectangular groove.
Tests can be performed in an air bath or in a water bath at constant temperature (heat exchanger and cooler for constant water temperature of 20±1°C).
The unit automatically records the initial setting time and final setting time as well as setting curves.
The combined weight of the piston and Vicat needle is 300 g ± 1 g.
After each penetration, the Vicat needle is automatically cleaned.
