It is equipped with the capability to perform grindability tests on coal samples in accordance with ASTM D-409 and ASTM D5003/D5003M-23 standards.
The device tests a minimum of 50 grams of sample at once.
The drum rotation speed rotates with a precision of 15-20 rpm.
The grinding unit of the device automatically stops after 60 rotations as specified in ASTM D 409 and ASTM D5003/D5003M-23 standards.
According to the standard, there is a weight of 29 ± 0.2 kg on top of the device's test cell; the weights are interchangeable.
The device comes with 8 polished steel balls with a diameter of 25.4 mm.
