Application:

Cracking refers to hairline cracks on the glazed surface of tiles. The resistance to cracking is determined by subjecting all tiles to high-pressure steam in an autoclave, then applying a coloring agent to the glazed surface, and subsequently checking the tiles for the presence of cracks. For large-sized tiles, the EN ISO 10545-11 standard requires cutting. The cut pieces should be as large as possible and each piece must be inspected.
