The TWJ-87 is designed to embed non-magnetic shafts that will pass through bomb detector sensors. High-pressure water is forced through the spray nozzle to erode the ground, allowing the spray nozzle and extensions to be submerged to create a hole that will allow the sensor probe to pass through.
Water jet cutting is an excellent method for rendering explosive devices ineffective. As it is a cold cutting method, it is safe against explosives. It will cut the explosive material in a safer manner.
