Cold Bending Test Device

Standard: TS EN 1109

The device is used to determine the flexibility of bituminous sheets at low temperatures. The test can be performed on the upper or lower surface of the sheet at a predetermined temperature or at successive different temperature levels to determine the cold bending temperature, which represents a temperature limit. Therefore, the test can be used to confirm the minimum cold bending temperature of a product or to determine a specific cold bending temperature where changes in the product's cold bending properties will be detected, for example, as a result of artificial aging.
