The device consists of the following parts:
- Guide Rail: Used to apply vertical load to the sample. The distance between the load and the loading disk on the sample can be adjusted to 40 ± 2 mm.
- Loading Bar: The loading bar and penetration ball weight is calibrated to 2 kg.
- Loading Disks: Supplied with 1 piece of 3 kg and 3 pieces of 5 kg.
- Penetration Ball: Made of steel, hardness 50 HRC, diameter 10 ± 0.05 mm, and polished.
- Support: Polystyrene plate 500 x 500 x 50 mm (method A) or concrete plate 300 x 300 x 40 mm (method B) is used.
