The ULTRAPYC 1200e automatic gas pycnometer is used to measure the true density and volume of solid materials. It has an automatic re-run feature that continues until results are within user-defined tolerance values or a user-defined maximum number of runs is achieved.
The appropriate reference volume is automatically selected by a microprocessor according to the selected sample cell. Additionally, the device has a USB printer port, a second USB port for flash/thumb drives, an Ethernet port for PC, or a network RS232 balanced interface, and a memory compartment feature.
It comes with three interchangeable sample cells (10, 50, 135cc) and a set of calibration spheres.
