Product Description
The portable handheld ultrasonic tomograph is designed for imaging the internal structure of concrete with single-sided access.
The tomograph represents a completely autonomous measurement unit for collecting and processing the obtained data tomographically. The measurement unit contains a matrix antenna array with 48 (12 blocks, each containing 4 elements) channel frequency broadband transducers with dry point contact and ceramic wear-resistant tips. Therefore, they can work for long periods on rough surfaces. Each transducer is equipped with an independent spring suspension, allowing examination on rough surfaces. The nominal frequency of the array is 50 kHz.
The device's interface allows operation with laser beams reflected from the surface of the test object. This way, the operator can correctly maintain a sliding step of the antenna array during the complete technical diagnosis of the test object.
The lightweight handheld body and repositionable handle allow comfortable work with the device on horizontal, vertical, and ceiling surfaces. A reference scale at the bottom of the device's body is designed for proper localization of defects relative to the antenna device.
The large and bright TFT display and keyboard allow the device to be easily adjusted to the test object, selection of necessary operating modes, and conducting an examination while monitoring the obtained results, which enables initial analysis.
The internal rechargeable battery provides 5 hours of operation for the device. The increased charge-discharge cycle increases the reliability of the tomograph for long-term applications. Additionally, the tomograph can be powered directly from the AC mains.
The device allows data transfer to an external PC for advanced processes via special software.
The examination is performed as a step-by-step scanning of the test object with data fusion and volume reconstruction over the entire scanned surface of the test object.

- Estimation of the thickness of concrete coating and the depth of reinforcement coating.
- Thickness measurement of the test object with single-sided access.
