Determination of maximum service temperature, for thermal insulation materials

For plate-type insulation material, after reaching the maximum service temperature at a specified rate of temperature increase and being subjected to one-sided thermal treatment for a certain period, the thickness, length, and width are measured. While the thickness of the test sample is measured during the thermal treatment, the length and width are measured only after reaching ambient temperature, and the test results are obtained.
