Determination of maximum service temperature, for preformed pipe insulation

Standard: EN 14707

The pipe-type insulation material is exposed to one-sided thermal treatment for a certain period after reaching its maximum service temperature at a specified rate of temperature increase. Following this process, thickness, length, and width measurements are taken.

While the thickness of the test sample is continuously measured during the thermal treatment, the length and width values are measured only after reaching ambient temperature, and the test results are obtained.
