Application

Textile fabrics without a specific direction cannot be tested for strength with tensile testing machines. To check the fabric's strength, a multi-directional force generated by hydrostatic pressure is applied to the fabric, which is called a bursting strength test.

The Automatic Hydraulic Diaphragm Bursting Tester is specially designed to perform bursting strength tests on knitted fabrics with pneumatic control. It can also be used for leather, paper, and cardboard.

It is used to determine the bursting strength and elongation of woven and knitted fabrics, as well as technical textiles, nonwoven fabrics, bonded fabrics, plastics, leather (synthetic and natural), and cardboard.
