Product Description

The Schopper-Riegler/P is used to determine the drainability of paper pulp suspension in water. Drainability is a measurable index of the refining degree of pulps.

The refining of paper pulp is one of the most important stages in the paper production process and strongly affects sheet formation and physical properties. This unit can be applied to all types of paper pulp in aqueous suspension.

The Schopper-Riegler/P also has a steel base, wide precise circular level, leveling feet, stainless steel construction, chrome-plated bronze drainage chamber, funnel, spreading cone, sealing cone, plexiglass protection, handle for drainage chamber, and ISO standard pneumatic components. For easy replacement of the stainless steel wire screen, it includes a hook, key, and mounting plate.
