Brick Test Hammer - Mechanical Type, Schmidt Test Hammer, Type L
Product Code: CN501
Application
The CN381 test hammer, which generates smaller impact energy, is specifically used to test the compressive strength of lightweight material objects such as bricks. It can also be used to test all lightweight aggregate concrete and other lightweight materials.
Testing and determining compressive strength with test hammers offers many advantages such as high efficiency, high accuracy, ease of use, easy portability, easy maintenance, and non-destructive testing.
Operating Principles of the Test Hammer
Inside the test hammer, the rebound hammer receives impact energy from a tensioned spring and strikes the rebound rod. Through the rebound rod, the energy is transmitted to the test specimen, then the rebound hammer and rebound rod will rebound back, and the slider on the test hammer will move together with the rebound hammer to its highest point. We can read the data using a scale called the rebound value.
