EP 08 Cutting Press
The EP 08 Cutting Press is primarily designed for preparing test samples by punching rubber and plastic materials.
The EP 08 is a small and compact manual press machine that fits perfectly anywhere you want to place it in your laboratory, production area, or any other location. The cutting press stands firmly on rubber feet and does not need to be attached to a table.
When using the manual cutting press, you only need to make a small movement with your arm. This is easy for the operator because Elastocon's special gears make the operation very simple with just a small movement.
The press device has a safety pin that must be released before each punching, meeting a safety requirement with a two-handed system to increase safety and minimize the risk of injury to the operator.
Quick Change System
The manual cutting press has a highly regarded system for quick switching between different cutting dies developed by Elastocon. The quick-change system has many advantages:
- Easy to change dies
- No need for height adjustments between different dies
- Saves time for the operator
- Minimizes the risk of error adjustment that could damage the die
- Increases the amount of perfect samples
- Guide rod EP 04.04 for curved and non-flat samples
Guide Rod (EP 04.04)
Cutting curved and non-flat samples (such as cables or hoses) is often a struggle. You often wish you had at least 4 hands. Elastocon has solved this with the EP 04.04 guide rod that comes with our cutting presses. With the guide rod, the cutting die can be positioned over the sample, but it guides and holds the material during the punching process, allowing the operator to cut safely without needing to hold the material.
