The securing elements at each end are extended to cover the ends of the test element with caps, without exceeding 50 mm.
The compressed test element should be placed horizontally and fixed at one end. To the other end, the load specified by the manufacturer should be applied, without exceeding the yield limit load values specified in Table 3.
The uncompressed length is the length measured under load after 5 minutes.
