Sagging

The relevant test element should be placed on a flat, horizontal table surface in a straight line, with one end of the channel extending 500 mm beyond the edge of the table. The part of the channel lying on the table should be secured from above along its entire length.

Sag is obtained by measuring the angle between the projection line of the support and the line formed by the free end of the channel.

Four measurements should be taken by rotating the element 90° after each measurement and following waiting periods of 5 minutes each. The sag is the average of the four measurements.
