The test specimen is clamped between the guides such that at least 200 mm of it hangs below the guide base and the remaining length is sufficient for bending on the guides.
The remaining free portion of the specimen must be bent from one guide to the other at a bending speed of 12 rpm (revolutions per minute) through a 180° angle, meaning it should be bent to the right in 5 seconds and to the left in 5 seconds. This operation must be repeated three times.
