MN018-1 Laboratory Roll Crushers are typically applied in laboratory or pilot plant applications after the primary reduction of the feed material.

Roll crushers operate with minimum dust formation and produce a material with a narrow size distribution containing minimum fine particles.

The MN018-1 Laboratory Roll Crusher, designed for the rapid, controlled size reduction of ore, mineral, or rock prior to metallurgical tests or further grinding or processing, is constructed with two separately driven counter-rotating rolls of the same diameter, thus providing ideal compression results; it provides a crushing medium for a wide variety of materials.

Product sizing is controlled by the (adjustable) gap setting between the two rolls. One roll is mounted with a heavy-duty spring against unbreakable material attempting to pass between the rolls.
